John Lennon and Yoko Ono first met at a preview of Ono's exhibition at the Indica Gallery in London in November 1966. They began collaborating artistically and publicly in the late 1960s and married in Gibraltar in 1969. They campaigned together including the famous 'bed-ins' and formed the Plastic Ono Band. They had one child together, Sean, born in 1975. Their partnership ended with John Lennon's death in 1980.
